Submission
Author Registration
Authors must register at the PRICAI-2023 web-based technical track paper submission site before they submit their abstracts and papers. The software will assign a password, which will enable the author to log on to submit an abstract and paper. To avoid network problems in the last minute rush, authors are strongly encouraged to register well in advance of the deadline.
Abstract and Paper Submission
Papers must be formatted in Springer’s Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNAI) camera-ready style template; see the Springer’s author instructions page for details. Submitted papers cannot exceed 12 pages (including references) for regular paper, and 6 pages (including references) for short paper. Please do not include acknowledgements in submissions due to blind review. Papers must be in trouble-free, high-resolution PDF format, using Type 1 or TrueType fonts. Use only the arabic numbers system (i.e. [1], [3-5], [4-6,9]) for your references. Please also refer to the instructions on how to prepare your paper for blind review.
Electronic abstract and paper submission through the PRICAI-2023 paper submission site is required on or (preferably) before the deadline dates listed above. We cannot accept submissions by e-mail or fax. Authors will receive confirmation of receipt of their abstracts or papers, including an ID number, shortly after submission. We will contact authors again only if problems are encountered with papers.
Camera-ready Copy Submission (applies for accepted paper only)
Please submit the files belonging to your camera-ready paper using your EasyChair author account. Select the proceedings author role and follow the instructions after the login for uploading two files:
- either a zipped file containing all your LaTeX sources (LaTeX files with all the associated style files, special fonts, eps files and the underlying bib file for the references);
OR a Word file in RTF format, and - PDF version of your camera-ready paper.
Please follow strictly the "Information for Authors of Computers Science Proceedings" page of Springer when preparing the final version. Download and use the correct template (either in Latex or MS Word) to prepare your final camera-copy paper. Papers must be in trouble-free, high-resolution PDF format, using Type 1 or TrueType fonts. Use only the arabic numbers system (i.e. [1], [3-5], [4-6,9]) for your references.
Please also pay attention to Springer's Editorial Policies when preparing your final copy.
The page limit given in this proceedings is strict. Note that NO appendix is allowed.
- Regular papers: 12 pages (including references)
- Short papers: 6 pages (including references
When submitting your paper, a corresponding author must be available to carry out a proof check of the paper. The corresponding author should be clearly marked as such in the header of the paper. He or she is also the one who signs the consent-to-publish form on behalf of all of the authors. Our publisher has recently introduced an extra control loop: once data processing is finished, they will contact all corresponding authors and ask them to check their papers. We expect this to happen shortly before the printing of the proceedings. At that time your quick interaction with Springer will be greatly appreciated.
Copyright Form Submission (applies for accepted paper only)
Please upload a signed and completed copyright form (scanned in PDF format) in EasyChair as soon as possible. The pre-filled Springer copyright form can be found on PRICAI-2023 website after notification of acceptance.
It is sufficient for one corresponding author to sign the copyright form. Springer requests that the corresponding author, who should match the corresponding author marked on the paper, must have the full right, power, and authority to sign the agreement on behalf of all of the authors of a particular paper, and accepts responsibility for releasing this material on their behalf. Spring does not accept digital signatures on the consent-to-publish forms at present.
Update of Paper's Topics
Please login to EasyChair and select your submission author role and then "Update information" to update the topics of your paper. Please select one or two most relevant topics from the checklist for your paper. This will greatly help us in preparing the proceedings and conference program.
Blind Review Instructions
Reviewing for the PRICAI Conference is blind to the identities of the authors. The first page, on which the paper body begins, should include the title and abstract, but not the acknowledgments and names or affiliations of the authors. The references should include all published literature relevant to the paper, including previous works of the authors, but should not include unpublished works.
When referring to one's own work, use the third person, rather than the first person. For example, say "Previously, Walsh [2] has shown that...," rather than "In our previous work [2] we have shown that...." Try to avoid including any information in the body of the paper or references that would identify the authors or their institutions. Such information may be added to the final camera-ready version for publication.
Policy Concerning Submissions to Other Conferences or Journals
PRICAI-2023 will not accept any paper that, at the time of submission, is under review for or has already been published or accepted for publication in a journal or another conference. Authors are also required not to submit their papers elsewhere during PRICAI-2023's review period. These restrictions apply only to journals and conferences, not to workshops and similar specialized presentations with a limited audience and without archival proceedings. The restrictions also do not apply to preprints posted only on arXiv. Authors will be required to confirm that their submissions conform to these requirements at the time of submission.
Review Process
Program committee members will identify papers they are qualified to review based on the information submitted electronically (the paper's title, keywords, and abstract). Their reviewing will be done blind to the identities of the authors and their institutions. The program committee's reviews will make recommendations to the senior program committee, which in turn will make recommendations to the program co-chairs. The program co-chairs will make all final decisions following full consultation with members of the senior program committee during this process.
Publication
Accepted papers will be allocated 12 pages for regular papers, and 6 pages for short papers. See the camera-ready copy instructions above for the correct page limit. Final papers found to exceed page limits and or otherwise violating the instructions to authors will not be included in the proceedings. Authors will be required to transfer copyright of their paper to Springer.
